When the Rainbow Family comes to the Black Hills, some will be more equal than others

WereAllEqual

When the Rainbow Family comes to the Black Hills, some will be more equal than others

To the people of South Dakota:

All United States Citizens are supposed to be equal under the law. There is one group however who are insisting on being more equal than the rest of us. They call themselves the Rainbow Family of Living Light. Ever since 1972 they have been embroiled in a battle with the United States Forest service to hold a gathering for self-indulgent narcissists who want to take illegal drugs in the country’s National Forests under the guise of religious freedom. In order to get around the drug laws, they have manipulated the left, the press and the Forest Service into believing they are a bona-fide religion. In actuality, they are a group of privileged Whites who have turned away from their upper middle-class upbringings in order to engage in a fantasy that they are a new race of Indians who are destined to save the planet by excessive marijuana consumption, nudity and unemployment.

This year’s National Rainbow Gathering is going to take place at a site about three air miles southwest of Deerfield Lake in southwestern Pennington County.  If you live here, you have no vote. You have no say in whether 20 tons of feces, miles of compacted soil, polluted water, tons or garbage, abandoned dogs and vehicles and thousands of newly planted marijuana plants will littering what was once pristine wilderness. The liberals always try to lay sole claim to respect for the earth that God created, but the love of natural beauty does not belong to any political party. President Teddy Roosevelt, a great Republican president, created the national forests for the enjoyment of all the American people. Richard Nixon, another Republican president, enacted legislation that provides for clean air and water. While Al Gore and Barack Obama wanted to sell the American Public on the idea that nuclear energy is “green.” It is the conservatives who acted conserve the natural beauty of this land. Conservatives do more for our wilderness areas than liberals do.

Despite strong objections from locals, American Indians and Ex-rainbow family members, this counter-culture group is going to host a gathering of 5,000 to 10,000 people in an area that clearly cannot hold that many people without serious impact. The Forest Service is ill equipped to deal with crowds of this magnitude. Law enforcement on the local,  state and federal levels  seems to have given up on any attempts to regulate this obnoxious and boisterous fringe group. The site they were allowed to choose is about five miles west-southwest of Deerfield Lake via an unpaved Forest Service road that branches off Deerfield Road, in a remote area of the western portion of the Black Hills National Forest. If any other group decided to hold such a gathering, in a non-developed camp site and bring crime, alcohol, drugs and nudity into it, they would be stopped by the authorities. The Rainbow Family, however, believes itself to be more equal than other citizens. The Believing themselves to be a new superior race, they hold themselves above the law.

The Rainbow Family is a collection of trans-racial re-incarnated Indians who are merely using a fabricated religion as an excuse to break the laws of the land.

In the times of politically correct trans-racialism, the Rainbow Family expects the gullible liberal public to believe that thousands of obviously White people enjoy religious protections on the basis of a fabricated Hopi prophesy that designates them a new race of people destined to save the planet by their prayers alone. While Rachael Rachael Dolezal is being vilified as a racial fraud and opportunist in the mainstream media, The Rainbow Family is lauded as progressive and committed to principles of non-violence and egalitarianism. Rainbow Family theology paints the group as a new race who designed by extra-terrestrials to form a hybrid religion centered on pot smoking, sexual promiscuity and disrespect for all authority. The public is expected to accept the mainstream press’s bias and accept the group’s propaganda without using their critical faculties to examine their outlandish claims.

Unfortunately, pretending to be re-incarnated Indians does not permit anyone to use illegal drugs in a National forest while running around naked and disturbing wildlife, chopping down trees and endangering sensitive wilderness. The Rainbow Family concocted this bogus “hybrid” religion solely to avoid signing permits or paying the fees that other American citizens would have to pay to camp in a National forest.  Anyone can clearly see that the vast majority of them are White, yet they use their fabricated claims of being the new, improved American Indian race to engage in selfish hedonism. Even the Native Americans they claim to love and admire so much denounce them for their self-indulgent fabrications.

The Rainbow family’s smug superiority and arrogance causes them to believe they can shirk the responsibility of obtaining permits to gather.  They’ve fed the lie that permits are unconstitutional to the liberal press who have in turn slavishly reported the Rainbow version of the First Amendment. A permit is a revocable permission. It requires good will and good behavior. The permit in no way impinges on their right to be in a National Forest or to gather, but places restrictions on the time, place and manner in which groups may gather. The Rainbow Family, being more equal than the rest of us, believes that no government authority has the right to place any restrictions on their hedonistic indulgences.

Other Americans must use developed campgrounds with safe and hygienic sanitation infrastructure, refrain from compacting soil or collecting fire wood, digging deep fire pits or cutting down trees. The Rainbow Family ignores rules designed for other Americans and defiantly treats the wilderness as their toilet. Why should this group be immune from the laws that the Presbyterians, Mormons, Jews and Catholics must obey? Mormons have the right to practice their religion, but they do not have the right to engage in polygamy. In the same way, Rainbows are free to pray for peace and to gather as other groups do, but they are not free to violate state and federal environmental and drug laws while doing so.

PotOutweighsSD

The Green Rush is the Real Driving Force behind the Rainbow insistence on gathering in the Black Hills

On top of all this, it turns out the Rainbow Family’s true agenda in the Black Hills is to manipulate the Lakota Indians into granting them access to reservation lands where they falsely believe it is legal for them to grow, sell and distribute marijuana. Claiming to be the “newest tribe” because it feels good, does not qualify a group under U.S. law to be considered a federally recognized American Indian tribe. The Rainbow Family is intentionally misrepresenting their true intentions for gathering in South Dakota in order to win favor with the weakest members of the tribes so they can get a foot hold into the lucrative and destructive marijuana growing industry. Their real agenda is not to pray for peace, they can do that anywhere. Their hidden agenda is to make inroads with unsuspecting Lakota Indians in order to use them to acquire lands where they falsely believe they will be free to produce lucrative marijuana crops. And we all know where the profits will end up. It’s time for conscientious Americans to tell the Rainbow family that concocting a religion does not afford you special rights. Americans of every religious persuasion must comply with the law and so must the Rainbow Family.

There is no First Amendment right for any church to spoil our American forests

According to Rainbow Family logic, the First Amendment gives them the right to do whatever they want. This group has a long history of misusing the Religious Liberty Argument to justify hedonism, lawlessness and drug abuse. They brag about an army of lawyers in their midst who donate their services to maintain the annual naked pot party in the forest. The reality is that U.S. Court of Appeals has ruled six times in the last decade that the Forest Service can require a permit without infringing on the First Amendment as long as the permit meets three criteria. A permit must be “content neutral (applies to all groups), narrowly tailored to serve a significant government interest and leaves open ample alternatives for communication (between the government and the group,” according to two rulings by the 9h Circuit Court of Appeals. The right to peacefully assemble in the forest does not include the right to violate federal law.

The Colossal arrogance of the Rainbow Family causes them to demand a double standard that no other religious group is afforded. Any other South Dakota residents who were smoking pot, building fires outside of designated areas, cutting down trees, and urinating and defecating in makeshift latrines would be cited, fined and possibly hauled to jail depending on the severity of their offense. The Rainbow Family must be held to the same standards as every other citizen. It’s only fair. It’s only American.

The American public needs to be educated to the fact that the Rainbows Family of Living Light is not above the law, no matter what the easily manipulated mainstream press prints. The Rainbow Family has never actually had a court ruling go in their favor. They get their way primarily due to their overwhelming numbers and fear of negative publicity in the liberal media. The county Sheriff or the South Dakota state police should be the primary law enforcement authority, but the Forest Service has been put in charge of the Rainbow Gatherings and they have always treated them with kid gloves. They receive slaps on the wrist when they allow drug dealers to hide behind their kids as they throw missiles at law enforcement. They run to the ACLU after they get arrested, falsely claiming brutality and demanding immunity from prosecution based on their bogus religion. It’s time to stop being afraid of the ACLU and start standing up for the rights of the majority of Americans to protect and preserve our National Forests from further negative impact cause by the Rainbow Family.

Rainbows have a Penchant for Polluting the Pristine

The Rainbow Family has a long track record of irresponsible stewardship of the lands on which they squat. In the past, the United States Forest service has actually begged the Rainbow Family to stay away from pristine wilderness. They have resorted to negotiating with them instead of dealing with them as the law breakers that they are. According to Becky Banker, a Michigan  Forest Service information officer, by the beginning of the week, the Rainbows have already damaged some artifacts and polluted the water with their waste. “You can’t put thousands of people in one area without there being long-term damage,” Banker says. “You do the math. That’s a lot of shit.”

As long as this group is using our natural resources, they should be subject to our laws.

In 2009, a group of New Mexico State University students studied the impact of the Rainbow Gathering and they concluded that a typical gathering deposits the following in our National Forests. Drug-addled minds are too foggy to follow Forest Service requirements to dig slit trench latrines properly in order to insure adequate protection of land, water and cultural resources in the Black Hills.

23.14 tons of feces

22,222 gallons of urine (82.74 tons)

120 TONS OF TRASH

6 miles of compacted soil

18,900 tampons (0.87 ton)

3840 diapers (0.48 ton)

1/2 TON of soiled toilet paper

937.5 gallons of used toothpaste (3.26 tons)

937.5 gallons of soap (3.26 tons)

3,750 gallons of bleach (13.03 tons)

151.2 pounds of cigarette butts (0.06 ton)

1.82 tons of animal feces

Over 6 days, the Rainbows will deposit around 249.16 tons of waste.

This totals nearly 250 TONS of WASTE deposited into our National Forests for no Good reason

The Rainbow Gathering poses a substantial threat to public safety

The gross irresponsibility of this group endangers the health and safety citizens of South Dakota living near the Black Hills National Forest.

The group will bring increased drug use and this will result in  increased crime, sexual offenses. Teen-age runaways who are attracted by the group’s false promises of freedom breaks up families and separates loving parents from rebellious children. The neglect of the Rainbow Family’s own children destroys the traditional family unit.

The anarchist politics and “all accepting” image of the group, attracts a wide range of sexual offenders, homeless vagrants and teen-aged runaways. The people of South Dakota have every right to defend their families from the undesirable element that a naked drug fest attracts.

An increase in crime, sex offenses, the splitting up of families and child abuse and neglect do not promote world peace

Because has become the darling of the liberal media, the truth about the violence that the Rainbow Family attracts has been hidden from the public. The liberal media gladly swallows all the propaganda that the group has to offer and reports it verbatim without ever evaluating the merit of the group’s claims. In addition, the presence of a rough crowd consisting of hundreds of aggressive drunken participants at the front door of the gathering referred to as “A-camp”. A-camp serves the Rainbow Family’s agenda of keeping objective reporters from entering the gathering. The last thing they want is accurate documentation of  what actually goes on at a Rainbow Gathering.

Each year, the gatherings become more and more violent. More drunkenness and brawling has been reported by some conservative members of the press. Nevertheless, the liberal media reports only Rainbow Family’s propaganda about the allegedly peaceful nature of the gathering.

Submitted for your evaluation, “Drunk Hippie fight at A-camp” https://youtu.be/306rcYdI1Dw

The video documents how a Rainbow Family member at the Alcoholic Camp tries to control the parking situation.

A gathering of anarchists, pseudo-spiritual Indians who accept and love everyone unconditionally acts as a magnet to individuals that most South Dakotans would rather not have in our backyards. At a typical Rainbow Gathering there are hundreds of teen age runaways, homeless vagrants, aggressive pan handlers, petty thieves, unregistered sex offenders and potentially violent mental patients who have forgone their psychiatric medications based on the Rainbow Family theory that marijuana is a better mood regulator. In addition, the gathering attracts a population of older counter-cultural men who are seeking out the sexual exploitation of confused young female runaways.

The children at the Rainbow Gathering are dirty and neglected and forced to live in filthy and dangerous conditions while their drug-addled parents ignore their needs in favor of excessive drug use and fantasies about space aliens who chose them to be the new evolved spiritual race that will save the earth. The Rainbows leave behind hundreds of dogs each year. Mentally ill individuals, vagrants and sex offenders remain in small rural communities that are not prepared to deal with them. The Rainbow Family refuses to take any responsibility for the cost to small local communities of policing the huge crowds, the thousands of dollars in unpaid medical bills at local hospitals, the shoplifting and vandalism and loss of tourism that their presence causes.

The Rainbow Family was placed on the United States terrorist watch list for a reason

The U.S. government put the Rainbow Family on the terrorist watch list. If this group was dangerous enough to be put on the list, then why isn’t law enforcement interested in strictly enforcing the existing laws? We need objective journalists to ask hard questions such as: Why would the Obama administration place this group on the terrorist watch list and then he look the other way when they bring drugs into a National Forest for a nude six day orgy?

The Rainbow family believes that marijuana is an adequate treatment for psychosis. This irresponsible belief puts the general public in danger. There is one glaring example of how dangerous the Rainbow Family ideology involving psychiatric treatment is.

Just this month, a Rainbow Family member, Thomas Jay Wasserberg AKA Tommi Jayne Wasserberg AKA Tommy Tooter made threats against US citizens—Native American men and women. Encouraged by the group to go off his medication and to use marijuana as a substitute for prescribed antipsychotics.  He has been arrested numerous times in Pima County, Arizona, most recently in March of this year, and has active warrants out for failure to appear. He is attracted to the Rainbows because they encourage mentally ill people not to take psychiatric medicine. This individual is a publicly declared member of a group that’s on the terrorist watch list, he’s making public death threats, but the federal government does nothing? This gathering will expose the people of South Dakota to hundreds of people just like him.

Rainbow Family Of Living Light Member Threatens To Kill Native Americans

Of course, the Rainbow family leadership disavows all knowledge of him. Yet he is listed in the online rainbow guide. His real name is Thomas Jay Wasserberg. He was arrested in Tucson, Arizona for disorderly conduct just last March and failed to appear in court. He has outstanding warrants, but the FBI hasn’t made any effort to even question him, let alone pick him up for making public death threats. All this leads me to wonder, who is protecting this group? Who has to power to pay their fines? Who has the power to control all media about them and spin it in such a positive life when the reality of the group is so sinister and ugly?

ProofCrazyTommy

http://www.bliss-fire.com/RainbowGuideOnLine.php

For all the above reasons, I believe that South Dakotans should demand a significant law enforcement at this gathering. If the Rainbow Family follows the rules and regulations they should be allowed to camp with a permit as other Americans do, but if they don’t, then they need to be subject to the same laws that the rest of us out.

It time to search cars, check id, hand out citations. We need a saturation patrol of the Rainbow Gathering. We need to take it out of the hands of the United States Forest Service and put it into the hands of state and local law enforcement. Conservatives, conservationists and decent Americans need to come together insist that law enforcement cite the Rainbow Family for possessing marijuana, nudity, underage drinking, vandalism and any other crimes it is involved in.

Because of all the hype around marijuana as a miracle drug, individuals who attracted to the event are increasingly mentally unbalanced, violent drug addicts, who either can’t or won’t contribute in any real way to society. The Rainbow Family does nothing about the social injustices they claim are creating these type of followers. All they care about is winning a meaningless battle with the forest service, getting their way and having a big party without being accountable for destroying the environment around them.  They preach about sustainability, but can’t even manage a few square miles sustainable for six days. They rely on their hypocrisy being overlooked if they mouth a few vague environmental platitudes. They do nothing to help anyone else and they can’t even build a small permanent sustainable community. They have made an art form out of selfishness and entitlement. The Rainbow Family never did anything but fight for its right to play Indian and party.

The defenders of true American Family Values are ignored

The Lakota Indians are defending family values while the Rainbow Family opposes them 180 degrees. Nevertheless, the objections of the decent Lakota espousing family values have been ignored by the mainstream media. Instead, the Lakota Indians who stand to gain financially from allowing the Rainbow Family to grow marijuana on their lands are given the microphone and allowed to glorify the group as a force for world peace and social change. The group has always had a single agenda of fighting with the Forest Service for the right to be lawless in the forest for six days. The group has never accomplished anything other than securing their annual gathering.

The real agenda of Rainbow Gathering is being overlooked in barrage of leftist propaganda about peace and love. The group is only looking to set up marijuana growing businesses in The Black Hills so that the leadership can make lucrative deals growing and selling pot on the reservation lands while ripping off a Lakota Indians in the process.  This is all about the entitled making easy money by exploiting Indian land based on a shop-lifted ethnic identity that they have never lived.

And who’s paying for all this? The taxpayers of South Dakota are. Those who signed the permit are the ones who should be made to pay.

While the citizens of South Dakota bear the risk of:

* Forest fires

* Murder, extortion, assault and battery

* Inadequate sanitation

* Diseases

*Abandoned Dogs

* Abandoned Vehicles

*Neglected children, runaways

*Child molesters, rapists

*Vagrants, homeless, shop-lifters and vandals

The Rainbow Family is allowed to have a big, free drug orgy in a National Forest.

Why do they American people have to tolerate this?  So that a selfish group of narcissists can have a free pot party funded with out taxes? The Rainbow family continues to claim it is leaderless, but this is merely a guise to escape accountability. The group has web sites and an organized system of announcing the gathering. The same individuals have spoken out in favor of the group and signed permits in the last few decades. Attorneys have come forward publicly on the group’s behalf. There are leaders. They can be identified and they must be held accountable for the actions of anyone who attends the gathering. The people of South Dakota deserve accountability.

The Rainbow Family has become so powerful that is has been allowed to harass and intimidate law enforcement

In 2008, The Forest Service reported that that Rainbow Family participants threw rocks and sticks at officers when they were taking a man into custody for an alleged drug offense. The man tried to escape arrest by hiding in “Kid Village.” The Rainbows tried to spin the story to make it look like the Forest Service attacked children, but took no responsibility for drug offenders who would use a children’s camp to avoid apprehension.

The role of the U.S. Forest service is to protect the people’s forest how any rational person could see them as the bad guy is in fathomable.

For your examination are two YouTube videos that document the reprehensible, aggressive behavior of the Rainbow Family towards law enforcement officers who are just trying to do their duty.

Rainbows defy law enforcement in Colorado in 2006. Is this peaceful?

https://www.youtube.com/embed/fwdo9a06j7E“>

Rainbow Gathering 2009 New Mexico – Hippies defy Law Enforcement when they try to make a drug bust of an old hippie hiding in “Kid Village

Eventually the Rainbow Family gives up on “OMing” for peace and starts throwing rocks and scream “Go home pigs!”

Being more equal due to their “religious” beliefs in pacifism, their blatant disrespect and harassment of law enforcement officials is tolerated. This is inexcusable.

Most of the Rainbow Family members serve no other function than to be a public nuisance. The contribute nothing to charity or world peace. They feed and clothe none other than themselves. They work for one political goal – the right to pollute our National forests every year in a six day unrestricted drug orgy. Claiming a lack of leadership should not absolve this group of responsibility for the harm they cause.

A Call for Action

The Rainbow gathering sanctions irresponsibility. Allowing this group to do whatever it wants in the name of religion, means that the locals are deprived of their right to the land, often for years. This is un-American. This is unfair. Why should the desires of 5,000 drug felons, be allowed to outweigh the will of the majority of the decent American people?

The Rainbow Gathering is a gathering of Narcissists that begins with arrogant self-important entitlement and ends in environmental devastation and threats to public safety.

Please take action to expel the Rainbow law-breakers.

No religion is an excuse for breaking the laws that are designed to protect the health and safety of the American public.

Please contact law enforcement and you elected officials and request that all state and federal laws be enforced. There should be a law enforcement team to check ids to make sure that escaped felons and sex offenders are not using our National forests as a place to escape from the law. There’s no reason why every person entering the gathering should not have shown id and face a background check. Roadblocks should be set up to search for illegal drugs. The permit holders need to bear the financial burden for increased law enforcement drug, nudity and public nuisance arrests.
